Sony E3 Review

Yea, it is official, I am getting a PS4. Sony showcased so many amazing exclusives that you would be insane not to have a burning desire to play them all. From their new exclusive IP Ghost of Tsushima, to Death Stranding, to the next chapter of the Last of Us. Sony showed up with pocket aces and killed E3.

One of the stand outs during Sony’s Conference for me was the Ghost of Tsushima, which seemingly came out of no where. The trailer that was shown looked to be a mix of game play and cinematic sequences, but if the parts that were game play were anything close to a representation of the actual game then sign me up. The combat looked like some of the smoothest combat I have ever seen in a game. Not to mention the game looked stunning.

Everyone tuning in to Sony’s conference was looking for details on Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding. We did get a few details about the game along with seeing some actual game play but a lot of people are still upset with the mystery surrounding the game. Me however, I cant fucking wait for this game. Call me a hype beast but I fully believe this game will be the game of the year if not more when it comes out.

The last of Us was an incredible new IP when it came out in 2013 and the sequel looks to be just as amazing. Prior to the Sony conference an extensive demo for the Last of Us 2 was shown. The game depicts an older Ellie trying to make in the world alone. The combat seemed to rely heavily on stealth in order to compensate for the reality of Ellie’s situation.

Following I have listed a comprehensive compilation of all the games and their trailers that were released during the Bethesda conference.

Ghost of Tsushima

The Last of Us 2

Resident Evil 2 Remake

Kingdom Hearts 3

Death Stranding

Marvels Spider-Man

Trover Saves the Universe

Nioh 2
